Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith...Hebrews 12:2(KJV). Another version puts it this way: Keeping our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish (NLT).
As long as Peter looked unto Jesus, he had the faith to walk on water - Peter walked in the realm (the supernatural) where all things were possible.
But the moment Peter looked around the high waves & the boisterous wind, he began to sink. Why? Peter was terrified; he was opened to fear. As a result, Peter began to sink. But once Peter cried out to Jesus, "Lord save me", instantly Jesus in all His goodness & power, reached out His hands to save him.
Whatever journey you start in life with your focus on Jesus, will SURELY be successfully completed with your focus on Jesus. Yes! That's why we are called to keep our eyes on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from start to finish. Our Christian race started with our focus on the Lord as we called upon Him to be saved; and we'll successfully get to the finish line by keeping our eyes upon Him because in Christ, SUCCESS is our inheritance. Oh yes! He paid the Price already. Success is the will of God for you. May you stay focused on the Lord JESUS by the power of His Spirit. In Jesus name, you will succeed & not fail; and you will not fall off by the way side. If you receive it, say a big amen!
