Sunday Oliseh, former Super Eagles player, who had only been Chief Coach of the team for a few months, just resigned from the position.
Oliseh’s time has been tumultuous, as he expressed his frustration over
Eagles’ critics – calling them insane, and the NFF cut his aide’s salary.
He sent these tweets:
I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to Play,Captain & Coach this great Nation of ours,Nigeria.
Due to Contract violations ,lack of Support,Unpaid wages,Benefits to my players,Asst.Coaches & myself, I resign as Super Eagles Chief Coach
His Twitter bio now reads, “ex-chief coach”.
